Morgan Walker Counselling currently offers video and telephone counselling to existing clients. Towards the end of the year, this will be extended to new clients who are seeking counselling remotely either due to the coronavirus pandemic or to allow easier access to counselling services.
Video counselling is offered to clients via Google Meet. Google Meet can be used securely from a PC, laptop or smart device.
In preparation for your video call, please install the Google Meet App on your smartphone or tablet from the link below for your device.
Apple iPhone / iPad
Please open the Apple App store and install the Google Meet app
PC or Laptop
Alternatively, if you would like to use a PC or laptop with a webcam, you do not need to install any software, but your computer must be running Microsoft Windows, Apple MacOS or Chrome OS.
Joining your Counselling Video Call
After booking a video call counselling session, you will receive an email with a meeting link. If you have installed the app on your device, Google Meet will automatically open and start the video call when you click on the link in the email invite. If you are using a laptop, your browser will open to the meeting URL.
Please click the link only at the time of your booked session, then click Ask to Join and you will see 'Asking to Join...' on your screen. If your join request is not accepted straight away, please click 'Ask to Join' again. Once your request has been accepted, you will join the video call.
